Scammers & How To Prevent Them

Firstly, we as the admin team want to start off by saying we do not condone the sale of gold however. Due to the nature of the mod, the sale of gold will take place and we want to ensure that the proper precautions are taken to prevent being scammed.

Precautions to take to ensure you won't be scammed.
Spoiler for Precautions:
• You should always remember to take evidence of any interactions during the trade to ensure you have sufficient proof and example of evidence would be steam chats between you and the scammer in the form of screenshots or video.
• Never trust a random stranger, you should always request their champions account name which we can check to see if have the gold. Or you can get them to send you a screenshot of their in-game gold you should never accept a screenshot from the website itself as that can be faked easily.
• Always request they send the in-game gold first, we can try to help you if your gold is scammed however we cannot give real life money back.

If you was selling gold and the person has scammed you, but you followed all the relevant steps to prove the person had the money and did not send it that person will be banned and 50% of the gold will be returned to you. However, if you was buying gold we cannot refund the real life money.

Agent System

You can request an agent who is an admin who will be able to act essentially as a middle man between buyer and seller. The seller will send the gold to the agent which will act as proof and security for both parties to not be scammed. Once the buyer has sent the money to the seller the agent will then release the gold to the buyer. This should provide maximum security during the sale which will ensure that no scam can go down but is also a fair process where both parties are treated fairly and kept safe during it.

You can report a person who has scammed by using this form:

Code: [Select]
Your Champion Profile Link:
Their Champion Profile Link:
Date & Time:
Evidence (screenshots or recordings):
Extra information (notes, steam names):

If you do not publiclly want to report a person you can contact Sabo on steam or champions directly.

If you have followed all the precautions, even without using our agent system. When all proof is provided we will gold seller 50% of the gold. Remember to never send real life money first!

~ Remember we do not condone the trading of gold, so if you are scammed and did not follow our steps the fault lies with you ~
